The occupational health office at the Burjassot Campus is being relocated to the ground floor of the Science Library, requiring adaptation and expansion works.

One of the main challenges of the project has been balancing the noise generated by construction activities with the need for silence in adjacent areas, especially during exam periods.

The intervention included both exterior and interior spaces, with work carried out in the building’s porticoed area, resulting in a more spacious and versatile multipurpose space.

  • Healthcare areas: treatment room with nursing consultation; psychology consultation; two conventional medical consultation rooms.

Non-healthcare areas: waiting room; office; archive; toilets.

To improve accessibility, existing ramps were renovated, obstacles were removed, and a new pathway was created through the adjacent landscaped area.

The project included all necessary installations for operation, such as: air conditioning via VRV system; domestic hot water production via aerothermal system; electrical and IT network installations; plumbing; fire protection.
