As part of the water purification processes of the El Prat de Llobregat desalination plant, there is a set of 20 closed filters that are pressurised by the filtration of seawater.
The project consists of designing, manufacturing and assembling the structure for accessing the lateral and upper manholes and valves of the 20 filters in order to carry out maintenance work without having to use auxiliary resources.

Technical data
Structure
Supply and assembly of a structure weighing 70 t, made of AISI 316L and comprising mainly HEB-200 and HEB-120 profiles.
Stairs
Supply and assembly of 2 sets of stairs, 3 levels each, made of AISI 316L and comprising mainly UPN-220 profiles, as well as 20 sets of stairs made of AISI 316L and comprising UPN-160 profiles for access to the pit.
Guardrail
Supply and assembly of 700 m of GRP guardrail with AISI 316L fasteners.
Grating
Supply and assembly of 465 m2 of non-slip GRP grating with silica sand, 7 mm mesh, certified as fire resistant, non-slip and abrasion resistant, and with AISI 316L fasteners.
