Design, manufacture, supply and assembly of 2 rotating drum filters and 1 automatic sorting grille for purification station.

La Obra pre-treatment station partially supplies the drinking water supply plant of Las Vizcachas, that supplies 60% of the drinking water to Santiago de Chile.

The peak capacity of La Obra pre-treatment station is 4 m3/s, so each filter has been designed for a capacity of 2 m3/s.

Assembly of the equipment has been performed through Turbomáquinas, representative of our company in Chile.

Technical data

Rotating drum filters

With filter mesh gauge 0.25 mm manufactured in stainless steel 304L. Exterior diameter of the drum 3 m and 4 m long. The drum frame and waste chute are made of carbon steel; the washing pipe is made of stainless steel 304L.

Automatic cleaning grille 

Automatic chain grille, RCD type, gauge 20 mm, with a channel width of 1.5 m and a discharge height of 4 m. Made of stainless steel 304L.
