The architect Fernando Porras has taken on this project as a continuation of his works at Madrid Río and Plaza de España. The goal of the project is firstly to create a space where residents can find some peace and quiet to sit and read comfortably.

And the secondary purpose is to provide an area within the same space so that, where appropriate, activities and events can be planned and held related to reading, performing arts and culture.

Some of the works carried out include the following:

  • Shaping the land to create a gentle slope, which will make it more accessible and form a welcoming basin.
  • Construction of two stands carved into the ground, made of pieces of solid granite.
  • Construction of foundations for the future installation of a pavilion.
  • Installation of entrance lighting.
  • Installation of a new drainage network.
  • Installation of a new irrigation network.
  • Planting trees of the same species already found in this area of the park.
