These actions aim to comprehensively improve the ecosystemic values of green areas.
To ensure connectivity of the urban and peri-urban green system and increase biodiversity, the following guidelines are followed:
- Naturalizing green areas and landscaped spaces in Fuengirola.
- Enhancing ecosystem services provided by parks, promoting their measurement and improvement throughout the contract using reliable and automated systems.
- Developing holistic management that considers health, well-being, quality of life, climate change mitigation and adaptation, and biodiversity in green spaces. The goal is to make nature more present in urban life, becoming a more functional element, both economically and ecologically.
