The plant in El Musel needs seawater contribution to rise the Liquefied Natural Gas temperature (-160ºC) to regasify it. The equipment from Coutex carries out the roughing process on the seawater catchment.

Coutex has done the manufacture and assembly of 2 automatic cleaning separators (RC3) for a canal width of 4.000mm and a discharge height of 14.305mm activated by means of electric engine.

The 4 cart wall-mounted sluice gates (CMW) have been designed to support a water charge of 9.600mm.

Gate's movement system by means of guide rollers mounted on sintered friction bushings to ensure an optimal mechanical functioning. All elements from the equipment have been designed to ensure their reliability under contact with seawater conditions.
