Construction of 26 housing units and parking spaces on Passeig 11 de Setembre in Lleida. Cubic Building

Construction of a total of 26 housing units, garages and storage rooms, divided in two stairwells, one linking 15 units and the other 11, located on Passeig 11 de Setembre in Lleida.

The foundations and earth retaining walls are made up of footings and braces supported on anti-vibration rubber and reinforced concrete walls. The load-bearing structure through reinforced concrete pillars and horizontal waffle-grid framework with sunken coffers and solid reinforced-concrete slabs. 

Façade enclosure consisting of multi-layer cladding, external face brick wall, internal insulation using rendering with water-repellent mortar and 8 cm-thick rock wool panel and free-standing self-supporting wall cladding. Above-ground envelope system on façades using the ETIS system, on the decorative white cubes of the façade and installation of the Flexbrick decorative architectural façade on specific areas of the façade. 

 

Roofs composed of PVC sheeting, insulation layer and concrete protection layer and paving or gravel depending on the walkable area. 

Interior divisions made from plasterboard sheets, using high acoustic performance concrete sheeting in separations between homes and communal areas.

Steps of interior staircase clad in granite stone, and porcelain stoneware tiles used on landings and entrances. Continuous paving with mass and/or stamped concrete in parking areas and building accesses. Flooring with large-format porcelain stoneware tiles and artificial turf in recreational area and swimming pool area.
