Sorigué shares its expertise at the 6th Andalusian Roads Congress

March 30, 2026

The company showcases its experience in producing specific solutions to extend the lifespan of roads and reaffirms its commitment to safety.

Sorigué took part in the 6th Andalusian Roads Congress, held in Córdoba from 25 to 27 March. The event, established as a leading forum for the sector, was organised by the Spanish Road Association (AEC) and brought together experts from various public institutions and private companies across the country.

This year, under the slogan ‘The road, the lung of mobility’, the technical sessions revolved around five major challenges: the financing and management of road networks; efficient and low-emission mobility; vulnerability and adaptation to climate change; road safety; and smart, connected roads.

Innovative materials

Attendees visiting the Sorigué stand were greeted by the phrase ‘Innovation for more sustainable infrastructure’ which sums up the company’s commitment to safer, more efficient mobility while offering environmentally sustainable products.

“In this context of challenges and change, we demonstrate how our solutions and innovation in materials contribute to a more resilient and durable road network,” stated Santi Sirvent, Head of Calcel , Sorigué’s own brand for the distribution of its anchoring and repair products with high mechanical performance, as well as high-performance asphalt mixtures.

Sorigué’s Infrastructure and Materials division also used the space to explain its work in road maintenance and unique projects throughout the country, and its commitment to road development in Andalusia through its own regional branch.

During the technical session ‘Efficient and low-emission mobility’, the company explained in depth the benefits of its product Calcel H20, a solvent-free, high-performance continuous asphalt mixture that enables quick and permanent repairs on all types of roads, including those with heavy traffic.

Anna Leal Bosch, Head of Road Maintenance, praised the Congress as “an opportunity to reaffirm what forms part of Sorigué’s DNA: the production of materials driven by innovation, technical expertise and respect for the environment.

It has been a forum to demonstrate that the materials industry does not just follow change: it leads it.”
