Sorigué begins maintenance of educational and security services buildings in the city of Alicante
The company is responsible for the proper functioning and operation of 65 educational centres and 11 buildings belonging to the Police, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Service, and Civil Protection.
In total, Sorigué serves 65 infant and primary schools (CEIP), adult education centres (CFPA) and special education schools (CEPE), as well as 11 facilities for the Police, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Service (SPEI) and Civil Protection.
The team carries out routine maintenance and attends to urgent incidents 24/7. The service includes scheduled and periodic preventive conditioning operations, fault repair, scheduling of planned tasks, and a digital inventory of the facilities.
It also includes extraordinary improvement and refurbishment tasks to modernise the buildings.
“These facilities have gone for more than five months without maintenance, so our work is key to bringing them up to date and addressing all the needs that may arise,” explains the Site Manager, Rafael Sánchez.
Urban maintenance and other works
In fact, the citizens of Alicante are already familiar with Sorigué’s work because since February 2026, the company has been responsible for the upkeep of pavements and squares.
This was Sorigué’s first foray into urban maintenance in the Valencian city and includes the repair and replacement of paving, kerbs and dropped kerbs, as well as drainage elements, street furniture and associated networks, with the aim of ensuring accessible and safe environments.
The group has also stood out in the province of Alicante with works such as the widening of the A-7 dual carriageway between Crevillente and Orihuela, the refurbishment of the internal medicine area at the Marina Baixa hospital, and the construction of the Sax auditorium and the Serra de Bèrnia School Institute in Xaló.
