Through its company Acsa, Sorigué has received the Madrid Excelente – Lugar Ciberseguro badge, awarded by the Community of Madrid in recognition of the integration of cybersecurity into its management model and the organisation’s key processes. 

The award ceremony, organised by Madrid Excelente, was held at the Digitaliza Madrid innovation centre, attended by institutional representatives and senior management from Madrid-based companies. 

Juan Francisco Sierra Sanz, Director of Information Systems at Sorigué, collected the seal, which reinforces the group’s commitment to responsible management geared towards excellence in an increasingly digitalised environment. 

Sorigué currently has two offices in the capital and nearly 200 employees in the region. 

The group maintains a close relationship with the Community of Madrid through its various business areas. Its clients include Canal de Isabel II, the Regional Ministry of Health, the Regional Ministry of Housing, Transport and Infrastructure, and the Regional Ministry of Education, among others. 

Framework Agreements have been established with the Madrid City Council for the renovation, repair and conservation of educational centres, and for the maintenance of public spaces across 15 of the city’s 21 districts. Furthermore, Sorigué is responsible for maintaining public facilities for the city councils of Parla, Fuenlabrada and Móstoles.  

Cybersecurity as a priority 

Madrid Excelente – Lugar Ciberseguro recognises the company’s work to incorporate cybersecurity as a cross-cutting element of its governance, aligned with business continuity, information protection and the trust of clients, employees and suppliers. 

The evaluation process to obtain the badge analysed aspects such as digital risk management, incident response capabilities, service continuity, supply chain security, and training and awareness activities for personnel. This approach has made it possible to assess the robustness of the implemented model and the consistency across different areas of management. 

Cybersecurity has become a key element in critical sectors such as infrastructure and urban services, areas where Sorigué carries out part of its activity. In this regard, the badge not only highlights the adoption of technical measures but also the integration of cybersecurity into the organisational culture and decision-making. 

The Madrid Excelente – Lugar Ciberseguro seal reaffirms Sorigué’s commitment to continuous improvement, digital resilience and information protection, in line with its strategy of promoting management models that build trust and deliver long-term sustainable value. Thus, the group reaffirms its commitment to cybersecurity as a key factor in tackling the challenges of digitalisation.
