The Community of Madrid has granted the Madrid Excelente quality seal to Sorigué, a business group with 70 years of experience, committed to society and the environment, with two offices in the city and approximately 200 employees in the region.
The company, which prioritizes sustainability, innovation, and social impact through its operations in Water, City, Industry, Infrastructure and Materials, Construction, and Energy, earned the seal after undergoing a rigorous and complex evaluation process, including an external audit that assessed key aspects such as work-life balance policies, inclusion, cybersecurity, innovation, and the company’s values.
With over 50 years of regional presence, Sorigué has strengthened its foothold in the Community of Madrid in recent decades through public contracts for the construction and rehabilitation of facilities, as well as the maintenance of buildings, squares, and roads. In terms of its commitment to the water cycle, Sorigué has executed significant contracts for the maintenance of water connections, networks, and hydraulic infrastructure. The group operates in 16 of the 21 districts of the city and in municipalities such as Parla, Coslada, and Móstoles.
The CEO of Madrid Excelente, Elena Mantilla, presented the award today at the group’s headquarters in Vicálvaro to Juan Ignacio García de Miguel, General Director of Water and Industry; Miriam Porres Faba, Head of CSR and Compliance; Miguel Cruceyra, Head of Infrastructure for the Central Zone; José María Lores, Head of Urban Spaces for the Central Zone; and Óscar Andrino, Head of Water Projects and Maintenance for the Central Zone.
