Sorigué begins the refurbishment of several healthcare centres in the Community of Madrid
The award granted by the Regional Ministry of Health of the community reinforces the contracts of the City area in the refurbishment and maintenance of healthcare centres.
This contract is added to other projects that the Urban Spaces Central Zone business line has been carrying out in the healthcare field, both in Madrid and in the Valencian Community, such as the expansion and relocation of the occupational health unit at the Burjassot Campus of the University of Valencia, and the adaptation of a clean room at the University Hospital of La Ribera for the Conselleria de Sanitat of the Generalitat Valenciana.
Start of the works
This award granted by the Primary Care Assistance Management of the Regional Ministry of Health of the Community of Madrid is called “Framework Agreement for works in Health Centres, Central and Northwest zone” and has a duration of one year, extendable by two more.
The first works have already begun at the El Lucero Health Centre and the Sierra de Guadarrama Health Centre.
The El Lucero Health Centre was inaugurated in 2007 and is one of the largest Primary Care centres in the region, both in size and in the population it serves. It has a surface area of 4,322 square metres distributed over three floors. This centre provides coverage to approximately 42,000 people.
As for the works at the Sierra de Guadarrama Health Centre, they consist of the execution of offices and renovation of the waiting room.
