The Forbes-UBS Sustainability Awards 2024 recognise the work of companies committed to the incorporation of sustainable policies in the development of their activities.

Sorigué has received the Forbes-UBS Sustainability Awards 2024 in the Industrial category for the commitment of the business group in the field of sustainability.

In their third edition, these awards have recognised family-owned companies that in recent years have implemented a transformation and involvement in their sustainability policies and are currently carrying them out.

Awards ceremony

Forbes and UBS held the awards ceremony this Tuesday, 19 November in Madrid. Ana Vallés, president of the Sorigué group, collected the award, highlighting in her speech the company’s commitment to increasing its level of demand and results to improve our society.

 

She explained that “as a result of our commitment to sustainability, through innovation, Sorigué has incorporated new materials, processes and ways of working that help us achieve a positive impact of our activities on society. These steps have contributed to making terms such as circular economy, energy transition, equality, or addressing climate risks part of the day-to-day activity of the group”.

In this third edition, recognised figures from the Spanish business landscape gathered to accompany all the award winners in the different categories: Food, Industrial, Technological, Agricultural, Tourism, Education, Pharmaceutical, Sustainable Innovation, Sustainable Excellence.

Among the award winners are companies such as Isdin, Familia Torres, Natura Bissé, IE and Estimar Hotels, among others.
