The Spanish Association of Fleet and Mobility Managers (AEGFA) has awarded the FLOTAS prize to Urban Spaces Catalonia of Sorigué in the category “Mobility plans”. It is the second consecutive year that the entity recognises the work of the group, as in 2023 it already granted it the award for best “Eco fleet”.

In its ninth edition, the FLOTAS 2024 awards have highlighted the importance of innovation and good practices in vehicle management, rewarding companies that promote sustainable mobility. In this regard, Sorigué has for years been committed to solutions that contribute to the reduction of emissions in cities and to researching new technologies to further decarbonise its vehicle fleet.

At present, Urban Spaces Catalonia, through its company Constraula, has a fleet of 179 vehicles, of which 49 are electric, 15 hybrid and five plug-in hybrid. 57% of these cars have the “ECO” label and 27% have the “zero emissions” badge.

Also noteworthy is the work carried out in other areas such as waste management, which has incorporated more than 120 electric vehicles and participates in research with Big Data to minimise the environmental impact of its routes.

Framed within the annual gala of the Spanish Association of Fleet and Mobility Managers (AEGFA), the FLOTAS awards bring together brands, renting operators, public and private service provider companies, media and fleet managers from different sectors. In total, AEGFA brings together more than 2,000 members from across Spain, responsible for a fleet of more than 450,000 vehicles.

Sorigué’s Urban Spaces business line provides services to cities in areas such as urban and public road maintenance, conservation of buildings and facilities, construction of new works and urban refurbishment.
