Supply and installation of new chlorination system for the seawater catchments at the Besòs combined cycle thermal power plant in Sant Adrià del Besòs (Besòs CCTPP). The service included drawing up the installation plan, the hydro-mechanical cleaning of fouling, land-based civil engineering works and piping launch and anchoring, as well as underwater chlorination distribution work on three catchments.

Project preparation, technical report, plans, study of alternatives and others. Hydro-mechanical cleaning: Cleaning of fouling from inside the central catchment, by designing a rotating propeller machine with jets of pressurised water. Land-based civil engineering works: Interconnection between electrochlorination plant and seawater supply basin, using a double piping system.

Underwater work in central catchment: Installation of 600 m of PEAD DN160 piping running from the seawater supply basin to the central catchment dome. Underwater work on catchment domes: Installation of PEAD DN110 piping for distribution of hypochlorite from the central dome to the Barcelona and Badalona side dome.
