Sorigué Renews its Bequal Plus 80 Certification

December 16, 2025

The group reaffirms its commitment to the workplace inclusion of people with disabilities, promoting initiatives that foster equal opportunities.

Sorigué has renewed its Bequal Plus 80 certification, which recognises its performance in inclusive and socially responsible disability inclusion management. To obtain this certification, the Bequal Foundation evaluates aspects such as strategy and leadership, accessibility, responsible purchasing, social action, and people management.

Employment integration

Since first receiving the Bequal Plus seal as a group in 2019, Sorigué has steadily increased the percentage of people with disabilities on its workforce, approaching its 3% target.

It has also established an Equality and Diversity Committee that regularly addresses disability-related issues, with support from expert organisations such as Fundación Seeliger y Conde and Motmot Diversity. Notable agreements for job placement include those with Fundación Aura, Randstad, and Adecco.

The group has a Disability Guide and support service, an adaptations protocol, and a sector-wide agreement that guarantees relocation and priority for people with disabilities.

Additionally, between 2024 and 2025, 16.6% of the group’s workforce participated in training on diversity and disability, further strengthening its commitment to workplace inclusion and accessibility.

Intellectual disability

Meanwhile, Fundació Sorigué – the entity driving the business group’s commitment to giving back to society – manages an occupational centre for people with varying degrees of intellectual disability and various conditions, in partnership with Fundación Aspros.

The building, constructed by Sorigué, is located in Lleida and spans 4,000 m² of equipped classrooms for the development of motor skills, communication, and sensory stimulation.

Indicators model

The Bequal certification is an evaluation framework that measures the level of commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility and disability, as well as compliance with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) – particularly those related to decent work and reducing inequalities.

The Bequal Foundation, which manages the certification of the same name, is the result of work carried out since 2011 to develop a systematised, certifiable model of indicators. It draws on the collective knowledge and experience of its founding organisations: the Spanish Committee of Representatives of People with Disabilities (CERMI), Fundación ONCE, FEACEM, and Fundación Seeliger y Conde.
