Sorigué joins the Spanish Association of Social Responsibility Directors (DIRSE)

During 2019, the company has also taken part in the 2019 DIRSE Mentor Plan that seeks to drive a strategic contribution of CSR in companies.

The Sorigué Group joins the Spanish Association of Social Responsibility Directors (DIRSE) during June.DIRSE is a leading Spanish association, nationally and internationally, of Social Responsibility and has more than 350 partners.

For the company this participation implies a high-level alliance in order to achieve its objectives in corporate responsibility, social innovation and business ethics. "Being part of DIRSE will also help us weave partnerships with Spanish companies committed to the good performance of CSR," added Miriam Porres, CSR and Regulatory Compliance Director at Sorigué.

To increase Social Responsibility within the business, Sorigué has built a robust compliance system, integrated with an ethical code from whichcompany policies are released.

These procedures aim to define the principles of action of the organization’s staff and management and also apply to all those people who relate to the Group. The quality system also ensures compliance with reference norms and standards throughout the value chain.

In addition, in its commitment to transparency and dialogue with stakeholders, Sorigué publishes its main milestones in the sustainability report and has opened two-way communication channels through the ethical channel and social networks.

2019 DIRSE Mentor Plan
During the first half of this year the CSR and Compliance Department has participated in the DIRSE Mentor program, promoted by this entity in collaboration with the SERES Foundation and the EY Foundation, the goals of which are to accompany new CSR managers in their projects within their organizations and drive their implementation. Only five managers were selected to participate in this edition, between the 350 partners of DIRSE and the 120 member companies of the Seres Foundation.
