Sorigué Joins the Association for Repair, Reinforcement, and Protection of Concrete (ARPHO)
The group becomes one of the 27 members of this organisation, which specialises in structural rehabilitation, infrastructure maintenance, and concrete-related work.
Through its company Sorigué Acsa Conservación, Sorigué has joined the Association for the Repair, Reinforcement and Protection of Concrete (ARPHO), bringing its extensive experience in infrastructure conservation through maintenance, repair, and rehabilitation projects.
The association, which has 27 members nationwide, serves as a support platform for companies in the sector. Its membership includes specialised contractors and manufacturers, as well as research centres.
Sorigué’s entry into ARPHO “strengthens the shared mission of both organisations: to promote best practices, ongoing training, and technical improvement in the sector. Thanks to this addition, the association gains new capabilities, knowledge, and experiences that will enrich its working groups and ongoing technical initiatives,” the organisation stated in a press release.
Recently, Sorigué achieved Level 1 accreditation for repair, reinforcement, and protection activities for concrete after meeting the certification requirements of the protocol established by ARPHO. These criteria were developed by the association’s members and validated with public administrations.
Founded in 2010, ARPHO aims to foster professionalism in the sector and promote the work of its members. The initiative, launched by a group of business owners from various regions of Spain, continues to grow with the goal of becoming a key meeting point for public administrations and related entities.
Experts in roads
Sorigué is a business group with over 70 years of history, recognised as a leader in urban services, the water cycle, industry, infrastructure and construction materials, building, and energy.
Through its Infrastructure and Materials division, Sorigué carries out construction and comprehensive maintenance of roads and infrastructure, and operates its own production plants for aggregates, precast elements, asphalt, and concrete. In terms of concrete, the group has three precast factories and nine of its own plants, and stands out for its capacity to produce large-format solutions such as precast tunnel segments.
As a specialist in the comprehensive maintenance of roads, motorways, railway infrastructure, and airports, Sorigué has specialised teams for winter road services and nationwide operational capacity.
With its membership in ARPHO, the group strengthens its position as a strategic partner in the sector, where it also stands out as a member of the Spanish Road Association (AEC), a leading institution for organisations and companies specialised in roadways.
