Sorigué carries out the energy rehabilitation of 13 buildings designated for subsidized housing
Espacios Urbanos Norte is undertaking projects to improve the energy efficiency of properties designated for housing in Santa Coloma de Gramanet, Terrassa, and Barcelona.
The Consorci de l’Habitatge de l’Àrea Metropolitana de Barcelona and the Institut Municipal de l’Habitatge i Rehabilitació de Barcelona (IMHAB) have entrusted Sorigué, through its company Constraula, with the comprehensive maintenance and energy rehabilitation of 13 properties designated for subsidized housing.
The interventions are taking place in the municipalities of Santa Coloma de Gramanet, Terrassa, and Barcelona, with contracts totalling over seven million euros, to be executed between 2025 and 2026.
Santa Coloma de Gramanet and Terrassa
Sorigué is responsible for improving the energy efficiency of ten multi-family buildings in Santa Coloma de Gramanet as part of the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan, funded by NextGenerationEU.
This contract, awarded by the Consorci de l’Habitatge de l’Àrea Metropolitana de Barcelona, includes renovations of building envelopes and the replacement of asbestos-cement elements to enhance thermal insulation.
These interventions include improvements to roofs, façades, shared walls, light wells, and communal facilities. Additionally, construction deficiencies are addressed, elevators are installed, and asbestos is removed from structures where necessary. s estructuras que lo requieren.
In the municipality of Terrassa, the Agencia de l’Habitatge de Catalunya has awarded the contract for the rehabilitation and energy efficiency improvement of Block B of the Can Vilardell residential complex, located on Carrer Rioja.
Barcelona
In the city of Barcelona, Sorigué is working on two real estate developments in the Sant Andreu district, managed by the IMHAB.
At Carrer Quito, 18, rehabilitation and energy efficiency improvement works are being carried out on a building with 150 apartments, comprising three staircases, five floors, and a basement. At Carrer Tiana, 2, the works involve rehabilitating façades and roofs, addressing structural issues, installing new systems, and improving the energy efficiency of a building with 49 apartments.
Thanks to its extensive experience in the maintenance and rehabilitation of all types of buildings, Sorigué’s Espacios Urbanos has been awarded major public contracts for the renovation and preservation of housing and public facilities in cities such as Madrid, Girona, Tarragona, Seville, Málaga, and Huelva, among others.
