Sorigué carries out the adaptation works for Building B of the Seville Justice City

February 17, 2025

According to the planned timeline, the new offices will house Seville’s courts of first instance during the summer months.

The Andalusian Regional Government’s Department of Justice, Local Administration, and Public Service has awarded Sorigué the contract for the adaptation works of Building B in the Palmas Altas complex, known as the Seville Justice City, following a bidding process involving seven companies.

The works will be carried out over the next five months to enable Seville’s courts of first instance to relocate to these facilities during the summer of 2025.

Experience in building A

Building B will be the second to become operational in the Seville Justice City, where, since late 2023, all commercial and administrative litigation jurisdictions have been based. Currently, Sorigué, through its company Acsa, is responsible for the comprehensive maintenance of these facilities, which consist of seven buildings, two pavilions, green spaces, an administrative area, and car parks.

This accumulated experience enables the company to undertake the adaptation works for Building B in line with the new Justice model, which proposes replacing the current single-judge courts with instance tribunals and transitioning from isolated modules of civil servants assigned to a single court to flexible structures and shared services.

The project also incorporates improvements suggested by legal operators already working in Building A, such as increasing the size of the offices.

The Palmas Altas Campus land was acquired in 2021 by the Andalusian Regional Government to consolidate judicial facilities. The relocation of offices began in late 2023, with all judicial bodies expected to be centralized at this site by 2028.

Sorigué is also responsible for the conservation of forests and parks in the Alhambra Monumental Complex in Granada, as well as the water supply and sewage networks in the city of Málaga, among other key community services.
