Barcelona

2017 (6 years)
Type of service:
Urban utilities

The service is planned in advance, verifying the arrival times of the different boats that stop at the Port of Barcelona. Once docked, waste is collected using manual and mechanical means at the ramps (carts, hand pallet trucks and forklifts).

The different types of waste (palletized, pressed and packed accordingly, in many cases) are introduced into the corresponding containers previously set up near the ship's waste exit ramps or in the waste warehouse located in the port.
