Urbanisation works complementary to building construction in the City of Madrid
Actions linked to urban planning and the remodelling of public spaces in the Centro, Tetuán, Chamberí, Fuencarral-El Pardo, and Moncloa-Aravaca districts.
These works address the specific needs of each district and can range from reorganising and widening pavements to building curb extensions (orejetas) and pedestrian crossings.
The projects include earthworks and demolitions, as well as installations for lighting, sanitation, traffic signals, irrigation systems, and other municipal services.
In addition, irrigation and landscaping work is carried out, along with reinforced concrete structures, stone gabions, masonry walls, and horizontal and vertical signage.
The works generate a positive environmental impact through the use of materials such as:
- Photocatalytic, decontaminating pavements on sidewalks, pedestrian areas, and roadways.
- Enhanced bitumens incorporating crumb rubber from end-of-life tires in hot bituminous mixes for roadway paving.
- Recycled aggregates for manufacturing concrete used in base layers.
- Recycled material in base layers of graded aggregate (zahorra).
