Vallbona d’Anoia sanitation system
This sanitation system collects wastewater from the urban centers of Vallbona d’Anoia and neighboring municipalities, through the use of 9 pumping stations and the currently deployed 11 km collector network.
It treats 7.5 million liters of wastewater per day in 2 biological treatment lines of 300 m3, two 28 m secondary decanters, and a sludge thickener together with a 3,050 m3 anaerobic digester.
The biomass resulting from the treatment processes is monetized through the use of microturbines, which produce electrical energy and heat form the generated biogas.

Piera sanitation system
The Piera wastewater plant treats 4 million liters per day, for the equivalent of 18,500 inhabitants, through a collector network consisting of 15 km of pipe and 2 pumping stations. The system consists of a dual active sludge biological reactor line with a nutrient elimination capacity of 2,000 m3, two secondary decanters, a dynamic sludge thickener, and dewatering.

Masquefa sanitation system
The Masquefa wastewater plant treats 3.4 million liters of water per day for the equivalent of 18,500 persons, through a collector network consisting of 4 km of pipe and 4 pumping stations. It consists of two low-load, active sludge biological reactor lines, carrousel type, with a capacity of 11,772 m3 and two dynamic secondary decanters, sludge thickener, and dewatering.

Carme sanitation system
The Carme plant treats 500,000 liters of wastewater per day, for a population exceeding the equivalent of 4,000 persons, through a collector network consisting of 2 km of pipe. It consists of an active sludge biological reactor line and one concentric secondary decanter, sludge thickener, and dewatering.
