Sorigué discusses new ideas for urban innovation at Smart City 2023

November 5, 2023

Artificial intelligence applied to architecture or highway conservation; decarbonisation through new production processes; and hydraulic infrastructure as a source of resources and energy are just some of the many topics proposed by Sorigué at its Smart City 2023 stand. The group has prepared a series of conferences and discussions at its stands around four key themes: innovation in the water cycle, circular cities, sustainable infrastructure and energy transition.

On 7, 8 and 9 November, Sorigué will participate in a new version of the Smart City Expo World Congress with a series of presentations related to four topics: innovation in the water cycle, circular cities, sustainable infrastructure and energy transition. Through conferences and discussions, the group will welcome experts from the academic and business world with the goal of creating and sharing knowledge, experience and talent.

The meetings will be held at stand 130, pavillion 2, level 0, lane E at the Fira Barcelona Gran Via centre.

Smart City Expo World Congress is the largest event in the world dedicated to urban innovation with a focus on efficient and sustainable solutions. Sorigué is joining this challenge to publicise its advances in city maintenance and is positioning itself as a leader in the promotion of innovative and sustainable projects.

Some of the most notable presentations include Smart22@ La Escocesa, a fully automated building; a proposal for the decarbonisation of cities from the value chain; the use of BIM technology in hydraulic infrastructure; artificial intelligence applied to building design; predictive models for optimising urban maintenance; and the generation of ecological cooling for the city using gas plants. Every half hour from 11am, Sorigué will invite the public to its stand so they can listen to a presentation on a new topic and ask questions.

For more information, see the conference programme.
