Over the course of two days, representatives from the Group’s business areas offering a wide range of urban products and services tailored to the needs of municipalities and citizens participated in the National Congress of Municipal Engineering, organized by the Association of Technical Engineers of Public Works of Catalonia.

In this fourth edition, the event aimed to promote and foster the exchange of knowledge and experience among professionals in the sector, while showcasing the latest trends in municipal management and presenting new tools for the urban environment.

Within this framework, representatives from Sorigué’s various business lines presented the company’s innovations in the field of precast pavements and asphalt solutions, including its range of cold-applied products, Calcel. They also highlighted its urban services related to infrastructure maintenance and the upkeep of public roads.

Conference programme

CIM 2018 hosted a conference programme aimed at municipal technical staff, in which Sorigué participated with the presentation entitled “Solutions for the maintenance of public roads.” During the session, Xavier Roselló, from Sorigué’s Materials division, outlined the different solutions developed by the company for pavement repair and fixing systems.

In his presentation, Roselló provided an in-depth overview of Sorigué’s product catalogue designed for small-scale pavement repairs in urban streets, as well as solutions for the replacement of all types of cast-iron covers. He also presented several case studies demonstrating the successful application of these cold-mix asphalt solutions.
