Sorigué and FADI join forces to promote young athletes from Aragón

April 26, 2023

The Aragonese Winter Sports Federation (FADI) and Sorigué once again join forces to promote and support athletes from Aragón.

The President of  FADI, José Ricardo Abad, and Felipe Robres, representing Vialex, a Sorigué company and a leading firm in Aragón with a clear commitment to giving back to society—especially in the territories where it operates—have signed a collaboration agreement that will provide a decisive boost to young athletes practicing winter sports disciplines in the region, in preparation for the Cortina-Milano 2025 Olympic Games.

The agreement reflects the commitment of FADI and Sorigué to the development and promotion of sports, and highlights the advantages of public-private collaboration in achieving these goals. In this regard, Sorigué will contribute €120,000 over the remaining three seasons of the current Olympic cycle (2023–2026).

For its part, FADI will incorporate Sorigué’s brand into all its activities and facilities. The brand will also be present on the official vehicles of the Aragonese Federation and in all actions organized by it, across any field—from competitions to all kinds of initiatives. In particular, those linked to the Specialized Training Centre for Winter Sports (CETDI Aragón), which operates under FADI. Likewise, Sorigué will appear, alongside the name of Aragón, on the equipment worn by Aragonese athletes throughout Spain and in different European countries when they participate in their sporting commitments and international training camps.

The collaboration between Sorigué and the Aragonese Winter Sports Federation is not new. In recent years, the joint efforts of both entities have made it possible to carry out major projects.

Among them is Spain’s first rollerski circuit, the Stadium Spainsnow, designed to host international competitions. This represents a significant step forward in Aragón’s commitment to winter sports, as the new circuit expands training and competition possibilities to 365 days a year. This development complements the existing offerings of cross-country skiing and biathlon in a privileged area of the Aragonese resort.

The signing of this agreement, which took place on February 23 and will remain in force until March 30, 2026, reinforces the joint work that Sorigué and the Aragonese Federation have been carrying out for years to support and promote athletes from Aragón, as well as their firm commitment to regional development.
