Ana Vallés, who attended a board meeting held yesterday in Barcelona, has been selected to form part of the Santander Bank Advisory Board in Catalonia because of her institutional leadership at Sorigué, her management of the first generational handover at the company, as well as her strategic vision, commitment to innovation, and dedication to the broader community.

With the selection of Vallés, Sorigué joins the group of important companies that form part of this Council representing various key industries (Cobega, Quadis, Freixenet, Nutrexpa, Tradisa, Agrolimen, and Pronovias).

Together with the President of Sorigué, the Council is comprised of Mario Rotllán, CEO of Cobega; Cristina Guiral, President of the Tradisa Group; Antoni Esteve, President of Laboratorios Dr. Esteve; Xavier Puig, President of Flamagas; Lluís Bassat, founder of the advertising and communications group Bassat Ogilvy; Juan Manuel Soler, President of Quadis; Javier Ferrero, President of Idilia Foods; Pedro Ferrer, CEO of Freixenet; Alberto Palatchi, President and CEO of Pronovias; and Lluís Carulla, founder of Agrolimen.

The meeting this past Wednesday was also attended by the CEO of Santander, José Antonio Álvarez, as well as the Director of Santander Spain, Rami Aboukhair, another other senior-level directors of the company.
