Sorigué Presents Its Sustainable Solutions for Cities at Municipalia 2025
Municipalia is the leading biennial trade fair for services and equipment aimed at local councils. It will take place from October 21 to 23 at Fira de Lleida, where Sorigué will occupy outdoor stand E63.
Managing stormwater runoff to harness its benefits and reduce flood risks is one of the top concerns for cities today. With this in mind, Sorigué is bringing several solutions to Municipalia. On the one hand, pavements made with the Calcel Rob aggregate mix are ideal for creating sustainable urban drainage systems (SUDS) that reduce surface runoff. On the other hand, permeable cobbles such as Vía Índalo support sustainable water management thanks to their porous, permeable material.
Along the same lines, visitors will find examples of the green roofs that Sorigué installs on buildings to retain rainwater, lower ambient temperatures, and provide other benefits. In addition, the stand will feature a model demonstrating the company’s patented trenchless technology for repairing water pipes and conduits, which greatly reduces noise pollution and minimises disruption from construction work.
Live demonstrations
Over the three days of the fair, Sorigué will run a live demo area where attendees can experience the properties of some of its products for pavement maintenance and repair.
• 12:00 – 12:45 Solutions for SUDS, tree pits, and gardens. Calcel Rob: solvent-free, phthalate-free resin-bound selected aggregate mix for designing permeable, decorative surfaces.
• 13:00 – 14:00 Solutions for anchoring and road repairs. Calcel Route and Calcel Route MC: pre-dosed, heat-curing mixes that ensure solid anchoring performance within one hour of application.
• 13:00 – 14:00 Sustainable technical solutions for urban paving. Firflex wearing course finishing system, which gives surfaces a natural stone texture in a wide range of sizes, colours, and aggregate types.
