Sorigué obtains the National Security Scheme, reinforcing its commitment to information security

October 29, 2024

With this certification, Sorigué increases the confidence of its clients and suppliers in terms of data security, in addition to ensuring the protection of its equipment and intellectual property.

Sorigué has received the certification of the National Security Scheme (ENS), the reference standard in information security established by the Spanish Public Administration.

The ENS is the regulatory framework for the administration that defines requirements and security measures to protect confidential data and the integrity of information systems. With this certification, Sorigué ensures the security of its clients, suppliers and employees.

Why is the ENS important?

Having the ENS means that the corporate security procedures of the business group, across all its business lines, are aligned with those required by the Public Administration.

“Sorigué, due to our type of business, works extensively with the Public Administration and therefore we must ensure that our corporate procedures for security management and information comply with this regulation.” Juan Francisco Sierra, Director of Information Systems.

The certification ensures that the group’s information systems are protected against threats, guaranteeing the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data.

By adhering to these standards, Sorigué increases the confidence of its clients and suppliers in terms of information security, in addition to ensuring the protection of its equipment and intellectual property.

The total number of certified systems in Spain is 1,435, of which 1,236 correspond to companies. Sorigué thus joins the 756 companies that currently hold the medium level of the ENS, and positions itself as one of the first groups to obtain this certification for all its business areas.
