Representatives from various Sorigué group divisions attended to build synergies with other industry players, explore innovative project management and execution experiences, and engage in discussions on challenges and opportunities in the field of public procurement.
In this regard, Francisco Ullod, general director of Sorigué’s City division, emphasized, “Sponsoring this symposium is a vital opportunity to demonstrate our dedication to more efficient, sustainable, and innovative public procurement. We believe that sharing best practices and fostering public-private collaboration are crucial for creating solutions that positively impact society.”

For the first time, this edition of the symposium recognized outstanding initiatives for their quality, efficiency, and commitment to transparency through the I Best Practices in Public Procurement Awards.
In the General State Administration category, the award went to “Personnel rates - tender specifications for engineering and consulting services” by the General Directorate of Water of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge.
In the Autonomous Community category, the honoured practices were “Robot Assistant for Procurement Boards (ASICÓN)” and “Guide for calculating and breaking down the base tender budget for service contracts using an indirect methodology,” both by the Andalusian Regional Government’s General Directorate of Procurement. Lastly, in the Local Administration category, the recognized practice was a comprehensive approach via a catalogue of 9 practices across the planning, preparation, and tendering stages of contracts by the Tarragona City Council.
