The contract includes buildings assigned to the districts of Eixample and Les Corts, among which prominent headquarters of the Barcelona City Council stand out.
This award has a duration of four years, extendable by one additional year, and consists of two lots.
The first lot, valued at €12,666,912.61 (including VAT), covers the buildings assigned to the General Services Management of Barcelona City Council and the Eixample district.
The second, valued at €10,833,575.41 (including VAT), includes the Les Corts district and the buildings of the Area Management of Social Rights, Health, Cooperation and Community of Barcelona City Council.
Comprehensive service
Sorigué is responsible for maintaining in perfect condition and ensuring the operation of all construction elements and installations in the buildings. In addition to ensuring a minimum response time for potential breakdowns or incidents, guaranteeing the availability of the facilities.
The service also covers all stages of building maintenance, as well as the updating of inventories and technical documentation, through specialised software, G.M.A.O.
Furthermore, Sorigué guarantees efficient use of resources and careful energy management without compromising the comfort conditions required by current regulations.
Barcelona City Council has positively assessed Sorigué’s technical proposal, as it ensures more efficient maintenance to minimise waste emissions and the consumption of water and electricity.
Benchmark in building and facilities maintenance
Sorigué’s Urban Spaces business line specialises in the maintenance and refurbishment of buildings. This service includes the provision of comprehensive maintenance (preventive, corrective, predictive and operational) for all types of installations, whether facilities or buildings in general, covering the different specialities of installations and civil works.
The business group has carried out significant contracts in Catalonia, such as the maintenance of buildings of the Barcelona Olympic Ring, the municipal buildings of the city of Girona, or the social housing managed by the Catalan Housing Agency (AHC) in Lleida and Vallès Occidental.
It has also undertaken the maintenance of major urban spaces in other regions of the country. In the city of Madrid, it is responsible for the management of installations as emblematic as the Spanish Senate, the Matadero Madrid cultural centre, IFEMA Madrid, or the Casa de la Panadería in Plaza Mayor. Other services in the capital include the upkeep of representative buildings of the Ministries of Justice, Agriculture, and Equality.
In Andalusia, Sorigué carries out maintenance of the City of Justice in Seville and the facilities of eight hospitals for the Alto Guadalquivir Health Agency. In the Valencian Community, it is responsible for the conditioning of a cleanroom at La Ribera Hospital in Valencia and the refurbishment of the facilities of the Rector Peset Hall of Residence in Valencia.
