The aim of the work was to improve the paving and carry out civil works for the installation of new facilities on Calle Francisco Balseiro and in Jardines Carlos París in the Madrid district of Tetuán. This has resulted in greater accessibility and quality of public space. 
 
This work is part of the Framework Agreement for refurbishment, repair and conservation works for all buildings and green spaces, as well as the execution of works on public roads and spaces under the authority of the Tetuán District, Section 4: Public Spaces.
 
The works carried out included:
 
• Demolition and removal of pavement, asphalt and kerbs.
• Disassembly of railings and fences.
• Paving of the various areas with different materials.
• Extension of pavements to demarcate the pedestrian area.
• Improved lighting in the area.
• Installation of new street furniture.
• Creation of a new drainage network.
• Refurbishment of the children’s area.
• Creation of a fitness zone.
• Creation of an area for dogs.
• Repair of the fronton stands.
• Cleaning and repair of facing brick wall.
• Change of fence in the garden area.
