Playground area in the Poblenou Superblock
This project involves installation of the children’s playground area as part of the Superblock Program in the city of Barcelona. The play area is located at the intersection of Calle Sancho de Àvila and Calle Ciutat de Granada, and it leverages these new public spaces to promote outdoor play with traditional playground elements.

Construction of a playground area included in the pilot program for the first Superblock in Barcelona in the Poblenou neighborhood.
The area is located at the intersection of Calle Sancho de Àvila and Calle Ciutat de Granada, and is intended for users of different age groups as indicated on each installation. The site has an approximate area of 265 m2 with rubber flooring in three large circles of different sizes, the smallest of which connects the larger ones.
The project includes:
- Installation of rubber flooring consistent with UNE_EN1177.
- Landscaping and irrigation.
- Installation of certified wood recreational pieces, adhering to safety clearance requirements.
- Furnishings and signage.
The new playground area is certified by an ENAC accredited company, pursuant to the UNE 147103, UNE-EN 1176, and UNE-EN 1177 standards.
