Young people participating in the Exit Foundation eDuo Project complete training at Corporación CLD

December 20, 2017

A total of 13 young people under 24 years of age have received a Professional Certificate in waste management

The first eDuoExit training program run jointly by the Exit Foundation, Femarec, and Sorigué was successfully completed at Corporación CLD. A total of 13 young people under 24 years of age have received a Professional Certificate in waste management. The training focused on the cleaning of open spaces and industrial facilities.

The participants, who had struggled to find work, have received this training at Corporación CLD, a Sorigué Group company, with the aim of improving their professional development and future job prospects.

The Exit Foundation eDuo project seeks to help at-risk youth specialize in a profession, alternating between training at an educational center and training at companies through a kind of internship system.

Sorigué and the Exit Foundation
This initiative is a new collaboration between the Exit Foundation and Sorigué. The corporate group has already held two installments of the Coach Project, the aim of which is to improve the employment prospects of youth between 16 and 19 years of age, through corporate volunteerism.

Sorigué’s participation in these projects reaffirms its commitment to sustainable growth by giving back to society, and is consistent with its policy on corporate social responsibility.
